Healthcare Referrals

In addition to providing emotional support via the telephone helpline, LifeLine Shanghai also offers healthcare referrals.

Referrals can be for general practitioners or specialists, including physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists and psychiatrists. We keep an extensive list of healthcare referrals that is continually updated.

When a caller asks for a referral, we always try to give the contact information for at least three people/organizations. Callers should then contact these people/organizations to find the match that is best for them and their needs. If a caller requires additional contacts, he or she is welcome to call back for more referrals.

LifeLine Shanghai does not accredit these providers, but rather checks their accreditation with outside agencies. LifeLine Shanghai is merely a referral service and does not make any claims as to the quality of any contacts on our list.
